10 Months Old - Double Digits!

That's enough pictures, Mom!
Eli has grown so much this past month! With his weight now between 19 and 20 pounds, we have moved up to size 3 diapers. He is still in 9-12 month clothing. He has the cutest dimples and creases around his thighs and knees. I suspect these baby rolls will soon disappear as he becomes more proficient with crawling. He is on the move and has certainly perfected his army crawl. He can pivot on his belly to change directions and can thrust himself forward to reach whatever he has his eye on. Right now, he especially loves getting to Emmy's shoes and to the door stoppers in every room.

His favorite game is emptying the toy basket.

He also enjoys swinging at our neighborhood park...
...and watching sports with Daddy. Football, baseball, college, pro, golf, NASCAR; you name it, we are watching it!
New tricks this month include balancing against furniture and doors...
...pinching and eating Puffs unassisted...
...and waving "bye bye" when prompted. Eli continues to be a great sleeper, and we are still using the sleep sack for naps and bedtime. He will take a morning nap around 9:30AM to 11AM and then an afternoon nap from 1PM to 3PM. Bedtime is around 7:30PM. During the work week, I have to wake Eli up in the mornings around 6AM. On the weekends, he will usually rouse about an hour later, around 7AM. I don't know how we lucked out with two great sleepers, but I sure am one grateful Mommy!
Big sister Emmy has done a lot of growing this month, too!
One evening, she pulled the stool over to our measuring stick so that she could be "at the 6 like Daddy." She proceeded to tell me that I "needed to eat all my food" so that I can be at the 6 like Daddy, too! Emmy is still wearing a Pull-Up at bedtime, but she rarely has accidents overnight. Hopefully by her birthday in November, we will have kicked Pull-ups all together! I have a feeling this year's birthday will include a lot of Frozen things. Grammy gave Emmy a special just-because gift this week - a Frozen crown with Elsa's trademark blonde braid. It almost looks real!
I had fun looking back through old photos this week, especially this one. Not only has Eli grown so much, but he definitely wouldn't stay still long enough for his sister to bury him in stuffed animals! I got a good laugh from this one!
