VBS 2026

After returning from our softball weekend at the beach, we've enjoyed a few days at home doing our usual summer activities of the pool, sweet treats, and other outdoor fun. On Thursday of this week, we went to the theater to see the live action Moana movie with Emmy's friend Natalie and her cousin Emma. With Daddy off work today, the four of us went to the Science Center, and then we went to lunch at Fishers Grille in Greensboro. In the evenings, we have been at church for VBS, with tonight being the final night. The "Road Trip" theme continued each night, following the story of the Israelities as they traveled out of Egypt, trusting that 1) God Calls, 2) God Provides, 3) God Guides, 4) God Disciplines, and 5) God Delivers. The kids had a blast and were especially invested in the Girls vs. Boys Penny War. (This year, the boys were victorious!) It was neat to see the Worship Center packed with kids each night, many that do not go to our church. I'm glad we could be a part of VBS this year and pray that it planted many seeds in the hearts of children.
