As we come to summer's end, it's time to look back on our Summer To-Do List. We crossed off every item!
1. Ocean Isle Beach (new house!)
2. Korner's Folly
3. Train Ride to Raleigh
4. Charlotte FC Match
5. Mrs. Hanes' Cookie Factory
6. Sports camp & swim lessons
7. Lots of ballgames
8. Bike rides
9. Visit Daddy at work
10. Learn some Spanish
11. The Milk Bar in Walnut Cove
12. The Deck at Belews Lake
As the kids are getting bigger and more independent, I am realizing just how precious and fleeting these summers are. I'll never again have a summer that Emmy and Eli are 8 and 5. Even though there were moments of deep breaths and timeouts, these two months were filled with so many fun memories, and I will forever be grateful for the blessing of being their mom.
