After returning from our trip to Florida, we enjoyed a few days at home before returning to work and school. The kids and I had Thursday and Friday off as the tail-end of Spring Break. I was able to snag the library's free pass to the Kaleideum, which recently opened its brand new facility in downtown Winston-Salem. Grammy went along with us on Thursday, and we enjoyed checking out all the new exhibits and activities. Grammy is always so helpful, and we love adventures with her. We also ran into Emily and her two boys, Silas and Sawyer, which was a fun surprise. On Friday morning, Eli was feeling a little off. He cuddled in our bed until almost 9AM! It was clear that our little guy was worn out. I pivoted from my original plans of going to the Science Center, and we had a more relaxed day at home instead. Luckily he bounced back on Saturday, and we returned to the Kaleideum, this time with Daddy. After a couple of hours at the museum, we walked to lunch at a nearby spot called Heff's Burger Club. We love trying out new restaurants, especially burger bars with toppings like pimento cheese, bacon, and fried egg.
Check out the fun headgear! Emmy and Eli are ready for our trip to England (thank you, Grandpa!), and Emmy got to join Grammy on stage at church for the birthday song! Happy birthday, Grammy!
